Overview
Bane Care Management is seeking an experienced Regional MDS Coordinator to support our skilled nursing centers throughout Eastern Massachusetts, including the Boston area, South Shore, and North Shore.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned MDS professional looking for a flexible per diem role with weekday hours and the ability to make a meaningful impact across multiple centers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, clinically strong, and enjoys mentoring and supporting interdisciplinary teams.

- Current, unrestricted Massachusetts RN or LPN license
- Minimum of 2 years of MDS experience in a skilled nursing facility
- Strong working knowledge of RAI, MDS 3.0, Medicare PPS, PDPM, OBRA, and care planning requirements
- Ability to travel throughout Eastern Massachusetts
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Provide MDS coverage and support to skilled nursing facilities as needed
- Complete and review MDS assessments for accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance
- Assist centers with Medicare PPS and PDPM processes
- Support interdisciplinary care plan development
- Conduct MDS audits and identify opportunities for reimbursement optimization
- Mentor and educate facility MDS staff and nursing leadership
- Help facilities maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
