About This Role

The Inpatient Medical Psych Nurse at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is responsible for planning and providing patient care in a multidisciplinary environment for patients aged 16 and older. • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists.
• Provide patient care in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care.
• Manage patients by assuming full responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrate initiative, knowledge, and clinical skills in caring for patients with complex needs.
• Assure the practice of the Patient and Family Centered Care Model.

• BSN required

• Minimum of 1 year inpatient psychiatry experience required

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required
