About This Role

This per diem position in the Neurology Department involves collaborating with multiple providers in a multidisciplinary team to deliver competent and compassionate nursing care for adults and their families.

• Assure competent, compassionate, individualized nursing care for adults and their families.
• Manage overall nursing care for patients undergoing specialized treatments in the neurology clinic.
• Collaborate with the inpatient and outpatient clinical care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure care is safe, efficient, effective, timely, and meets the cultural, spiritual, and ethnic needs of each patient and family.
• Participate in clinical research trials within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.

• Education:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience:
  • 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience required
