About This Role

The Inpatient Medical Psych RN Clinical Leader at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a multidisciplinary psychiatric unit. • Participate in oversight and operation of the patient care area.
• Ensure quality patient care for patients in various age groups.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other professionals.
• Develop programs to support clinical care consistent with hospital goals.
• Ensure adherence to JCAHO and other regulatory requirements.
• Implement the Patient and Family Centered Care Model.
• Evaluate nursing practice and recommend changes.
• Plan and implement educational opportunities for staff.
• Act as a resource and mentor for nursing staff.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required, Master's Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience:

• Experience in a psychiatric setting preferred

Licenses &

Certifications:

• MA Registered Nurse License required
• Basic Life Support certification required
