American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in Boston, MA, requiring scrub experience and competency across multiple surgical services at a Level 1 trauma center.

• Hospital-based OR setting with 17 operating rooms staffed 24/7
• Surgical services include general, GYN, GU, oral, ENT, bariatrics, orthopedics, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine
• Mid-shift, 12-hour day/evening rotation totaling 36 hours per week
• Day shift start time is 7:00 AM; evening shift start times are 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM
• Every 3rd weekend required as needed
• Every other holiday required
• On-call required once per schedule
• May float to a secondary OR unit as needed

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient OR experience required
• Scrub experience required
• Competency in at least 5 of the listed surgical services required
• Level 1 trauma OR experience preferred
• Neuro and vascular experience preferred (beyond scrub general, GYN, and GU)
• Two professional references required — at least one must be from a manager-level or above (not a supervisor), one must be within the past 12 months and the other within the past 3 years
• Must pass Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test (A or
  
  B) — test may only be taken twice
• Previous permanent employees of this facility are not eligible to apply as travelers

• Candidates must demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent communication skills
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be placed at a local bill rate
• No radius eligibility restriction specific to this OR position — local rate applies for those within 50 miles
• Holiday coverage is required on alternating holidays
