Neurosurgery Physician Assistant – Boston, MA | No Nights or Holidays | 13-Hour Day Shifts

- Hours/Week: Approximately 39 hours
- Employment Type: Contract
- License/Certifications: MA state license required; BLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS preferred
- Experience: Minimum 1 year neuro-related clinical experience
- Patient Population: Pediatric (peds)
- Procedures: Inpatient neurosurgery, drain removal preferred
- Hourly Rate: $151.32/hr
- Pay Package: Competitive pay, weekly direct deposit

- Collaborate with residents in daily patient rounds
- Review patient plans and manage inpatient neurosurgery cases
- Enter orders, coordinate discharges, and update patient progress
- Support neuro patients post-surgery, including drain management (preferred skill)
- Assist in patient assessments and documentation in Epic EMR
- Work closely with healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
- Handle discharge planning and follow-up as needed
Required:
- Massachusetts state licensure
- Board Certified in Neurosurgery
- At least 1 year of neuro-related clinical experience
- Strong clinical skills in inpatient neurosurgery care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience removing drains (hemovac/jp drains)
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
