About This Role

The RN in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Massachusetts General Hospital provides expert care to adult and pediatric patients before and after surgery, working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Pay: $41.72 - $105.65/Hourly
• Location: Boston, MA
• Facility: Massachusetts General Hospital
• Department/Unit: PACU
• Schedule: Full-Time, Rotating

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.

Education: ASN or BSN required, BSN strongly preferred

Experience: Minimum of 2 years acute care nursing experience;
Previous experience in a critical care environment (ED, ICU, PACU) strongly preferred
