American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 1 trauma center, requiring trauma, ortho, and neuro case experience and an active MA RN license.

• Acute care setting within a Level 1 trauma center Operating Room with 23 surgical suites averaging 75 cases per day
• Day shift schedule with shift options of 7A-3P, 7A-5P, or 7A-7P, open to 36 or 40 hours per week
• Weekend rotation required with 12-hour shifts alongside staff, and possible 8-hour weekday shifts in rotation
• Call requirements include approximately 3-4 weeknight shifts and 1 weekend shift per 4-week period, with a 45-minute call response time
• Charge nurse present on all shifts
• Self-scheduling permitted within reason; block scheduling not guaranteed
• No floating required
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Scrubbing not required but considered a bonus

• Active MA RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Experience circulating and/or scrubbing Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, cardiac, and exploratory laparotomy cases required
• BSN not required for this position
• EPIC EMR experience preferred

• Manager will conduct interviews directly with no prescreen required
• Travel experience preferred
• Hospital-issued scrubs required
• Assignment must start ASAP and end by June 1st
• Housing leads available upon request
