Pediatric Registered Nurse

Position available for a Pediatric Registered Nurse in ambulatory care. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in ambulatory care. BLS certification is mandatory. Experience in neurology and/or epilepsy is preferred. This role involves triaging and managing patient communications via phone and patient portal. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and modifying care plans for assigned patients. Proficient use of electronic medical records is required.

Documentation must be clear, complete, and concise, adhering to nursing standards and SBAR format when appropriate. No weekends or on-call duties are required. Candidates should be prepared to contact patients regarding changes in clinical management and provide ongoing care coordination between clinic visits. Effective communication with families, healthcare team members, and external agencies involved in the patient's care is essential.
