Description:
MID - 12-hour shifts with a 36-hour workweek. Start times are 7 AM for day shifts and 9 AM and 11 AM for evening shifts. Every 3rd weekend as needed and every other holiday. On-call duty required once per schedule. May float to another operating room if needed. Previous permanent staff not eligible to be submitted as travelers. Department details include surgical services such as general, gynecology, urology, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedics, neurology, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine.
There are 17 operating rooms staffed 24/7. Candidates should have a positive attitude and be flexible. Excellent communication skills are required. Preferred experience includes neurology and vascular along with scrub experience in general, gynecology, and urology.
