About This Role

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary is responsible for interpreting medical care plans, assessing patients, and providing individualized nursing care in a safe and competent manner. This role is ideal for nurses who are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience:

• Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current RN License in Massachusetts required
