Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated psychiatry nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our growing behavioral health team just 20 miles south of Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care in an environment that prioritizes clinical excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care for patients with a range of mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication adherence.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with hospital policies and best practices.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to clinical decision-making.
- Licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant in Massachusetts.
- Board certification as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner or relevant experience in psychiatry as a PA-C.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in psychiatry or behavioral health preferred.
- Strong diagnostic, therapeutic, and patient communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
