Job Summary

Schedule:

36hrs per week NIGHTS; 9hr or 12hr shifts based on the needs of the department

• 37 private bed medicine/telemetry teaching unit
• Will see a diverse adult population with acute and chronic conditions (asthma, COPD, renal disease, DKA, DVT, HTN, PE, sepsis - to name a few)
• Exposure to the latest technology including telemetry, Vocera, Epic and CVM (Constant Monitoring System)

• BSN required
• Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
• BLS and ACLS required
• PACU experience strongly preferred
• Preoperative holding and evaluation experience preferred
• ASPAN membership and CPAN/CAPA certification preferred
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients
• Ability to demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities
• Ability to adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards
