Department Summary:
Boston Children’s Division of Outpatient Cardiology is one of the world’s oldest, largest, and most experienced pediatric programs.
Our clinic provides comprehensive evaluation and coordinated care for infants, children, and adults with various heart and heart-related illnesses, diseases, and conditions. We care for patients who have congenital heart disease and the congenital heart defects (CHDs) that it causes, conditions such as septal defects and tetralogy of Fallot. We also care for those who have acquired heart disease — conditions such as cardiomyopathy and hypertension.
Keyresponsiblities
- Collecting, verifying and recording required information according to established procedures and instructions.
- Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse.
- Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed.
- Working in both Waltham and Boston clinic. 5 eight-hour shifts Mon
- Fri 8a-4:30pm.
- Education:
A HS Diploma or equivalent. - Experience:
1-year CA experience, CNA certification, or Nursing Student with at least one clinical rotation. Direct patient care experience preferred. - Certification:
Current BLS certification required, or certification must be obtained within three months of hire.
