About This Role

The Charge Nurse for the Sub Acute Unit at Spaulding Nursing and Therapy Center Brighton, Inc. is responsible for providing patient care according to nursing standards, integrating the nursing process with the plan of care, and functioning as a clinical resource for the patient.

• Pay: $37.76 - $82.96/Hourly

• Complete nursing assessments accurately and timely.
• Develop and implement a plan of care reflecting patient needs and goals.
• Provide, evaluate, and modify nursing care to achieve objectives.
• Complete patient care documentation per established standards.
• Administer medications safely according to professional standards.
• Transcribe or acknowledge doctors' orders and carry them out as directed.
• Coordinate nursing care activities with other care team members.
• Assess patient education needs and provide necessary education.
• Mentor and teach healthcare team members as needed.
• Participate actively in team conferences and meetings.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred

• Experience in a nursing role preferred

• Current RN License in Massachusetts required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
