Key responsibilities of the RN – Pediatric Pre-op include:

• Assist in pre-operative assessments and preparations for pediatric patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort prior to surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams and communicate effectively with parents or guardians
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs as needed
• Provide education and support to families regarding pre-operative procedures

Requirements of the RN – Pediatric Pre-op include:

• Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing preferred
