Key Responsibilities of the RN – Pediatrics PACU
- Provide post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients
- Monitor patient vital signs and recovery progress
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care
- Collaborate with surgical and medical teams for optimal patient outcomes
Requirements of the RN – Pediatrics PACU
- Current RN license in Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Experience in Pediatrics and PACU preferred
