Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced RN to join our Inpatient Psychiatry Unit in Boston, a 16-bed secure inpatient unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing nursing care to patients and families in our inpatient psychiatric unit
- Maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.
- Providing education to patients and families.
- Facilitating group therapies.
- Overseeing behavioral health specialist staff.
- 32 or 36 hours, variety of shifts including:
1) day/evening rotating, occasional overnights, every other weekend.
2) nights and every other weekend, 3( day/night rotating and every other weekend. And all positions include rotating holidays.
Education:
- A bachelor's degree in nursing
- 1+ years of RN experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting. Inpatient and pediatric experience preferred.
- Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
