Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner - Boston, MA

- Shift: Day, 3x13-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Hours/Week: 39 hours/week
- Employment Type: Temporary/Contract
- License/Certifications: MA License, BC in Neurosurgery (required)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year neurosurgery experience
- Hourly Pay Rate: $129.98

- Conduct patient rounds alongside residents, developing care plans
- Review and place orders for inpatient neurosurgical patients
- Assess and see patients needing attention, discharges, and follow-up
- Remove drains such as Hemovac or JP drains (preferred skill)
- Collaborate with a resident program for inpatient care—note: no OR involvement
- Document clinical findings and update patient records using Epic EMR
- Board Certification in Neurosurgery (required)
- Massachusetts License (or ability to obtain)
- 1+ year of neurosurgery experience
- Ability to perform drain removal (preferred)
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
