Overview

Registered Nurse, OB/GYN – Outpatient care in a hospital setting. Boston, MA, United States. Travel assignment starting 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 40 hours per week with 10-hour shifts. Responsibilities
  • Perform nursing assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and coordinate care for OB/GYN patients and their families
  • Monitor patients undergoing OB/GYN procedures, including sedation monitoring, and provide post-procedure recovery as needed
  • Support conscious sedation and termination services in alignment with safety and regulatory guidelines
  • Conduct fetal monitoring when applicable, assist with gynecologic procedures, and support OR/PACU teams
  • Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and appropriate referrals; document care in the electronic medical record
  • Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient, and evidence-based care
Requirements
  • Active MA RN license
  • BLC, ACLS, and AWHONN fetal monitoring certificate required
  • Minimum 2+ years of outpatient OB/GYN experience, with conscious sedation and termination services
  • Ability to work in a hospital outpatient OB/GYN setting, including 10-hour day shifts
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills; comfortable with rapid coordination of care and documentation
