RN Nurse, Staff Nurse
Position Summary
Registered nurse, in the Infusion – Cancer Care department, is responsible for professional performance and direct patient care. Duties encompass nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and coordination of care for patients and families across the health‑care continuum.
Job Requirements- Education
:
Nursing degree – diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred). Ability to obtain a BSN within 4 years. - Licensure
:
Current RN licensure in Massachusetts in good standing. - Certifications
:
Basic Life Support (BLS) required;
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for certain units; additional certifications may be needed for specific practice areas. - Knowledge & Skills
:
Basic computer proficiency; effective interpersonal, organizational, and delegation skills; ability to communicate verbally and in writing with patients, families, and health‑care team; multilingual skills (beyond English) preferred; relevant clinical experience or specialty certifications; analytical ability to solve nursing issues and conduct quality improvement projects; physical ability to meet core job responsibilities; ability to manage stress. - Other Requirements
:
Vaccination against COVID‑19, flu, and receipt of a COVID‑19 booster; participation in the Electronic Employment Verification Program.
Salary range: $38.05–$79.47 per hour, depending on qualifications. Total compensation includes medical, dental, vision, pharmacy benefits; 403(b) savings matches; paid time off; career advancement opportunities; and resources supporting employee and family well‑being.
