American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology Float Pool RN for a 3x12 day/night rotation requiring active MA RN licensure and prior oncology nursing experience.
Details- Float pool position covering multiple oncology and related units within a hospital setting
- Potential units include general oncology, research oncology, palliative care, medical oncology, and bone marrow transplant (BMT)
- 3x12 shift schedule with day/night rotation
- Uses Epic for charting
- Float pool role requires flexibility to work across multiple oncology-focused units
- 13-week assignment length
- Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted
- Both NURSYS and Board of Nursing (BON) verification required for licensure
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
- Prior oncology nursing experience required
- Flu vaccine required with no medical or religious exemptions accepted
- Provide direct patient care across various oncology-related units including medical oncology, research oncology, palliative care, and BMT as part of the float pool team
- Local candidates accepted, but those residing within 60 miles of the facility will receive a reduced rate
- RTO must be disclosed at the time of consideration
- Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
