Explore Boston, MaIn Boston, MA, teaching hospitals and research centers pack into dense clinical corridors that define care across the region. Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital are among the academic systems travelers will know, with coverage running strong in labor and delivery and the intensive care units. Placements reach outward enough that Cambridge, Somerville, and Quincy work as residential options with workable commutes into the central hospital districts.
The T makes a car optional for a lot of those trips, which is part of the draw. Stepping off the floor, a meal in the North End or a walk along the Charles is an easy way to close out a long rotation.
