ED Boarder – Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical)

Boston, MA

Contract | Rotating Shifts (3x12 Day/Night Rotation or Straight Nights) | Every Other Holiday, Every Other Weekend

• Provide direct patient care to ED boarding patients within the emergency department setting
• Manage and monitor boarded patients awaiting inpatient placement, ensuring continuity of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary ED and medical-surgical teams to coordinate patient needs
• Adapt to rotating day and night shift schedules, including every other weekend and every other holiday coverage

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Medical-Surgical nursing background
• Experience in an emergency department or acute care environment
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts or straight nights as required

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with ED boarding workflows and patient throughput processes

• Flexible scheduling options available, including day/night rotation or straight nights to fit your lifestyle
• Orientation accommodated for a smooth onboarding transition into the role
