The Per Diem RN position at the Bridge Clinic focuses on providing compassionate and individualized nursing care for patients with substance use disorders. This role is ideal for nurses who are skilled in evidence-based practices and enjoy collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

• Provide competent, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care utilizing the nursing process and interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Actively manage patient flow, including rooming and triaging.
• Triage and help identify level of care and intervention needed in cases of substance intoxication or withdrawal.
• Expedite appropriate care and treatment of the patient utilizing assessment, critical reasoning, and clinical judgment.
• Document nursing assessment, interventions, plan, and outcome in the patient record in a timely manner.
• Assess, triage, provide nursing consultation, and perform follow-up and surveillance of patient status and outcomes.
• Create a therapeutic relationship with patients and families.
• Work with the pharmacy and outpatient team to obtain medication orders, prescriptions, and refills.
• Complete toxicology screening for patients.
• Collaborate with all members of the health care team to ensure coordination of care.

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

• Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required

• Current RN License in Massachusetts required
