Aboutthe Role
As an RN – OR (Peds), you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your expertise and compassion will ensure the highest standards of patient safety and comfort in the operating room. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of experience to thrive in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and surgical procedures.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols in the operating room.
- Support families by providing clear communication and compassionate care.
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- At least 1 year of experience in an operating room (OR) setting, preferably with pediatric patients.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
