American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Day Surgery Unit position requiring an active MA license and ambulatory OR or PACU experience with an orthopedics/sports medicine focus.
Requirements- Active MA RN license required with no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- BLS certification required, AHA preferred
- Primary source verification of license required within 30 days of start and upon expiration, including NURSYS and BON verification
- Ambulatory surgery experience required for either OR or PACU role
- OR candidates must have orthopedics and sports medicine/outpatient experience
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Located at an outpatient healthcare center's Day Surgery Unit
- Ambulatory surgery setting supporting orthopedic and sports medicine outpatient procedures
- 4x10 schedule with shifts from 07:00-17:30
- 13-week assignment length
- Uses Epic for EMR charting
- Provide perioperative nursing care in an outpatient surgical setting focused on orthopedic and sports medicine procedures
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are accepted at a reduced rate
- Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
- RTO must be disclosed prior to consideration
