Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit Staff Nurse

The Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the Neuro ICU. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in collaborative environments and are committed to patient safety and quality outcomes.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients with complex neurological and medical needs.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, initiative, and critical-thinking skills.
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families regarding care.
• Maintain a strong commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Assume accountability for the overall management and coordination of care for assigned patients.
• Perform responsibilities in accordance with the Nursing Department’s Clinical Practice Manual.

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required for newly licensed nurses

• 2 years current Neuro ICU experience required

• Current RN License in Massachusetts
