The Esophageal and Airway Treatment Center (EAT) center meets the needs of infants, children, and young adults with complex esophageal and airway issues.
* This position is a flex position which will also cover ambulatory EAT and then flex to other surgical and procedural areas.
- Providing patient triage/chart review to facilitate needed procedures and clinical supports for patients and families with medical needs ranging from acute to chronic.
- Conducting patient/family in person and virtual visits inclusive of patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems or potential problems.
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Working 20 hours per week including 8,10- and 12-hour day/evening shifts M-F
Education:
- A Master of Science in Nursing
- 1-3 years of RN/NP acute (hospital) experience required.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills.
Certifications:
- MA licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse
- Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner
