Registered Nurse - Gynecology Clinic- MGH

The Registered Nurse in the Gynecology Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital is responsible for providing proficient nursing care, collaborating with healthcare team members, and managing patient care effectively. • Identify, facilitate, and evaluate outcomes of nursing care for patients.
• Communicate the plan of care and pertinent information to health team members.
• Participate in performance improvement activities for the unit.
• Teach and direct nursing personnel as applicable.
• Participate in the orientation of new staff members.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience:

• 2 years of relevant nursing experience (med-surg, ambulatory, inpatient) required
• Experience in OB/GYN and/or ambulatory experience preferred

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current RN License in Massachusetts required
