Railroad Construction Company is seeking a motivated, qualified individual with excellent communication and leadership skills.

B.S./M.S. in Civil/Mechanical Engineering required.

* Minimum of 10 years of work experience in heavy construction industry required.

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance / quality control (QA/QC) position, working on projects for large agencies such as Amtrak, MBTA, MTA, Massport, etc.

* Quality-related certifications such as ASQ, ISO 9001 Lead Quality Auditor, or equivalent preferred

* Experience in implementation of the Quality Management System and the project-specific Quality Plans

* Ability to read and clearly understand the contract drawings and technical specifications

* Ability to effectively communicate and resolve Quality-related matters

* Ability to conduct internal Quality audits and subcontractor/supplier evaluations

* Reasonable physical ability to self-perform some inspections and testing in the field

* Experience in verifying that all subcontractor/supplier work meets requirements of the contract specifications

* Ability to manage the third-party inspection and testing agencies

* Availability to accommodate multi-shift and weekend work schedule if needed

* Strong motivation to effectively perform the job duties
