Quality Control Inspector II
Performs incoming inspections on chemicals, labeling, and components using equipment such as calipers, microscopes, and go and no-go gauges. Completes or reviews incoming, in-process, and final inspection documentation. Performs in-process and final inspections to support manufacturing, including the use of pH meters, conductivity meters, and spectrophotometers. Issues non-conformance reports to clients. Performs detailed reviews of device history record documentation as part of final inspection and release activities for finished products.
Performs inspections as requested for engineering and other departments. First articles and courtesy inspections and assists with the development of applicable inspection procedures, checklists, forms, and inspection folders. Maintains QC activity collection plans and other applicable tracking logs. Oversees and coordinates calibration activities for the facility. Gathers up and ships equipment out to calibration suppliers. Organizes on-site calibrations. Notifies individuals and departments when their equipment is due for calibration.
Initiates EIRs. Reviews and maintains calibration data records and certifications. Performs weekly testing of the water systems. Processes RMAs disposition, disposal, and documentation retention. Orders lab supplies. Performs other duties as assigned. Must have incoming inspection experience with the ability to read prints and drawings, use height gauges, calipers, surface plate, CMM, or vision system skills are a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft apps Excel, Word.
Ability to navigate EBS systems with data entry.
