Senior QA/QC Manager, Data Centre

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA/QC Manager to join our team, specializing in Data Centre projects. This pivotal role ensures the highest standards of quality and compliance are maintained across all aspects of our operations. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in QA/QC processes, with a strong focus on MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA/QC plans and procedures for data centre projects.
  • Oversee and manage all quality assurance and quality control activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reviews of MEP systems to identify and address potential quality issues.
  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with QA/QC objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality data centre projects.
  • Prepare detailed QA/QC reports, documentation, and records for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address non-conformances.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, standards, and emerging technologies to continuously improve QA/QC processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in QA/QC management, with a strong focus on data centre projects and MEP systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality standards, codes, and regulations relevant to the construction and operation of data centres.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing QA/QC processes in large-scale, complex projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in QA/QC tools, software, and methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications in quality management or MEP systems are highly desirable.
Day-to-Day
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to QA/QC standards.
  • Review and approve quality documentation, including test plans, inspection reports, and certifications.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality-related issues.
  • Monitor the performance of MEP systems and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to promote a culture of quality within the organization.
  • Track and report on QA/QC metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all QA/QC matters related to data centre projects.
