We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality assurance efforts across our software development lifecycle. This role will be responsible for ensuring the high quality delivery of scalable, and secure software products. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in test automation, CI/CD integration, and quality metrics, and will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and Dev Ops teams to embed quality into every stage of development.
You will drive continuous improvement, champion best practices, and mentor junior QA engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement quality assurance strategies and test plans.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test suites for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Oversee the automation of regression and sanity test cases, ensuring coverage and reliability.
- Enable automated data setup for recurring test scenarios to streamline test execution.
- Participate in defect triage meetings and drive root cause analysis for critical issues.
- Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering roles within software development environments.
- Hands-on experience with modern testing tools and technologies (e.g., Selenium, Postman, REST Assured).
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing tools.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and other database languages.
- Experience with implementing QA tools for automation, performance testing, and defect tracking.
- Strong hands-on experience with web application testing, ETL workflow validation, and API testing.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with testing in EPIC EMR system including data exchange between Epic and Mirth Connect.
- Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Dev Ops).
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) and security testing practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
