QC Specialist (Flow Cytometry) - 3rd Shift
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Specialist to support QC testing for Cell & Gene Therapy manufacturing programs. This role is responsible for performing analytical testing, reviewing laboratory data, maintaining GMP documentation, and supporting release, in-process, validation, and stability testing. The ideal candidate will have strong Flow Cytometry experience along with hands-on laboratory testing in a GMP biopharmaceutical environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Control Testing
- Perform analytical testing including:
- Flow Cytometry
- Cell Counting
- Cell Culture
- Sterility Testing (BACT)
- Endotoxin Testing (LAL)
- Visual Inspection
- Support in-process, release, validation, and stability testing
Laboratory Operations
- Perform technical review of laboratory data
- Record laboratory results within GMP documentation systems
- Maintain laboratory notebooks and electronic records
- Perform laboratory equipment maintenance
- Troubleshoot analytical methods
GMP Quality Support
- Support:
- Deviations
- OOS Investigations
- Quality Events
- Ensure compliance with:
- cGMP
- cGDP
- Laboratory documentation requirements
Documentation
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation
- Utilize electronic laboratory systems (LIMS)
- Follow controlled laboratory procedures
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in:
- Biology
- Biochemistry
- Chemistry
- Life Sciences
- Related Scientific Discipline
Required Experience
- 4-6 years of GMP pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical QC experience
- Hands-on Flow Cytometry experience (Required)
Experience performing multiple laboratory methodologies including:
- Cell Counting
- Cell Culture
- Sterility Testing
- Endotoxin Testing
- Visual Inspection
- Experience working in GMP laboratory environments
Preferred Experience
- Cell Therapy
- Gene Therapy
- Biologics
- Stem Cell Manufacturing
- LIMS
- Electronic Laboratory Notebook systems
- $45-55/hr W2
- Duration: 12+ Months
- Schedule:
Wednesday-Saturday 9:30 PM - 8:00 AM (3rd Shift) - Location:
Boston, MA 100% Onsite
