Job Summary

Harvard University – Senior Research Scientist (ACTG) – Center for Biostatistics in AIDS Research, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Boston, Massachusetts.

• Design, monitor, analyze, and report Phase I–IV clinical trials, diagnostic studies, and observational studies within the ACTG network.
• Lead statistical work, provide methodological expertise, and supervise and mentor other staff.
• Collaborate with over 60 statisticians, epidemiologists, and research staff across multiple international sites.
• Develop a self‑initiated research agenda focused on HIV and infectious disease studies.

• Doctoral degree in biostatistics or related field.
• At least seven years of clinical trials or related applied experience beyond the doctorate and a publication record beyond thesis papers.
• Evidence of independent design, conduct, monitoring, and analysis of clinical trials and observational studies.
• Strong quantitative, communication, and leadership skills with an interest in assuming a leadership role.

• Experience with SAS and multi‑center clinical trials a plus.
• Established interests in infectious diseases, particularly HIV or tuberculosis, or implementation science are particularly welcome.
