Summer Research Lab Student

Summary

Provides a variety of duties to support the departmental needs. Depending on the intern assignment, tasks can vary from laboratory and research assistance.

• Assists with in‑person data collection.
• Assists with research experiences.
• Prepares for study visits including organizing paperwork, setting up equipment, and preparing study materials.
• Assists with subject scheduling.
• Assists with other research‑related office tasks as needed.
• Processes collected data.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No

Prior experience in an office and/or research/laboratory setting 0‑1 year preferred

• MS Office proficiency as well as the ability to learn how to use new software as needed.
• Effective interpersonal and communications skills, with research staff, children, and subject families.
• Ability to problem‑solve and troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently to schedule, plan, and complete subject visits.
