Works independently with general supervision; problems faced are difficult but typically not complex, and may influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.

Minimum Qualifications- PHD in a relevant field of study OR M.D.
- Prior experience in healthcare research.
- Record of publication in a relevant field of study.
- Conducts independent research projects within the healthcare field, under the guidance and mentorship of senior researchers.
- Designs and implements research studies, including experimental protocols, data collection methods, and statistical analysis plans.
- Analyzes and interprets research data, using appropriate statistical techniques and software.
- Prepares research findings for publication in peer‑reviewed journals and presents at conferences and scientific meetings.
- Collaborates with other researchers and professionals to develop and refine research hypotheses, study designs, and methodologies.
- Stays updated with the latest advancements and breakthroughs in healthcare research and applies relevant knowledge to ongoing projects.
- Assists in securing research funding by contributing to grant writing and research proposal development.
- Collaborates with healthcare professionals and institutions to collect clinical data and samples for research purposes.
- Contributes to the development and validation of new diagnostic tools, treatments, and interventions.
- Participates in the preparation of research reports, progress updates, and grant applications.
- Mentors and provides guidance to undergraduate and graduate students involved in research projects.
- Collaborates with industry partners to translate research findings into practical applications and technologies.
- Collaborates with regulatory bodies and ethics committees to ensure compliance with research protocols and regulations.
- Contributes to the dissemination of research findings to healthcare professionals, policymakers, and the general public through various channels, such as seminars, workshops, and publications.
- Maintains accurate and organized records of research data, protocols, and results, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Typical clinical and administrative office setting.
- Demonstrated experience in research design, data collection, statistical analysis, and scientific writing.
- Proficiency in statistical software packages (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R) and data management tools.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting research findings to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of ethical guidelines and regulations related to healthcare research.
