We are seeking a Senior Scientist, Proteomics to help advance a next-generation chemical proteomics platform supporting drug discovery and target validation efforts. This individual will play a key role in developing and applying mass spectrometry-based proteomics workflows to generate biological insights, characterize compounds, and support biomarker discovery across multidisciplinary research programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, optimize, and execute targeted chemoproteomics and quantitative proteomics workflows.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced LC-MS instrumentation, including Orbitrap-based platforms.
  • Design scalable sample preparation and experimental workflows to support high-throughput applications.
  • Analyze and interpret complex proteomics datasets using quantitative and statistical approaches.
  • Collaborate closely with biology, chemistry, computational, and platform teams to design experiments and guide project strategy.
  • Drive innovation in chemical proteomics technologies and methodologies to expand platform capabilities.
  • Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline with 4+ years of industry experience, or MS with 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Deep expertise in mass spectrometry-based proteomics and LC-MS instrumentation.
  • Experience with quantitative proteomics approaches such as TMT, DIA, PRM, or related methods.
  • Strong background in targeted chemoproteomics and compound profiling applications.
  • Experience analyzing large-scale proteomics datasets using tools such as Proteome Discoverer, Spectronaut, Max Quant, or MSFragger.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and scripting in Python and/or R.
  • Strong understanding of experimental design, assay development, and quantitative data interpretation.
  • Experience with peptide mapping, intact mass analysis, or laboratory automation platforms is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced discovery environment.
