Research Fellow – Computational Biology & AI Location

• Conduct independent and collaborative research under the guidance of a faculty mentor or principal investigator.
• Design and execute research projects.
• Analyze and interpret biomedical and clinical data.
• Contribute to manuscripts, presentations, and lab program activities.
• Stay current with relevant literature and adhere to research protocols and ethical standards.
• Support grant-related or collaborative initiatives.
• Develop next generation computational systems using probabilistic generative models, reinforcement learning, causal inference, mechanistic modeling, and agentic AI systems.
• Work with real world multi-modal patient data (omics, images, clinical trajectories, etc.).

• PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Computational Biology, or related discipline.
• Strong programming fundamentals and statistics knowledge.
• Experience working with Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, and GPUs at scale.
• Experience with clinical or biomedical data workflows and multimodal datasets.
• Strong publication record in mathematics, statistics, or ML/AI research.
• Interest/knowledge in oncology, immunology, or molecular/cellular mechanisms.

$72,000.00 – $76,385.00 (Based on market structures, experience, and qualifications)
