We are seeking an Associate Scientist, Conjugation (Chemistry) to join our team. This role will support oligonucleotide synthesis, conjugation, and analytical activities for nucleic acid therapeutics programs, collaborating with cross‑functional teams. This position provides an opportunity to develop hands‑on expertise in synthesis and analytical workflows while supporting project needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform oligonucleotide synthesis and preparation to support nucleic acid drug research.
  • Operate oligonucleotide synthesizers (e.g., Dr. Oligo 48, Dr. Oligo 192, Mer Made 12) to complete routine synthesis; optimize conditions and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain and ensure proper use of synthesis equipment.
  • Conduct analytical testing using HPLC, LC‑MS, and related techniques.
  • Assist in updating and improving SOPs for oligonucleotide synthesis.
  • Participate in purification and formulation preparation as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support project needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of organic synthesis principles.
  • Ability to analyze and solve technical problems independently.
  • Proactive, well‑organized, and capable of driving tasks and projects forward.
  • Strong communication skills, including English proficiency and presentation abilities.
  • Good teamwork skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
