Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Scientist or Senior Scientist in Pharmacology to join a leading contract research organization dedicated to advancing preclinical research services in the fields of immunology, immuno‑oncology, metabolic disease, and neurology. Based within a dynamic and fast‑paced environment, this role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in pharmacological studies, disease model development, and cell‑based assays.
The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting biotech and pharmaceutical partners through hands‑on experimentation, project management, and scientific innovation. This responsibility is ideal for candidates who thrive working in a collaborative setting, combining technical expertise with strategic vision to evaluate novel therapeutic agents and contribute meaningfully to ongoing research projects. The position is based onsite within our client’s facility and provides the chance to develop your career within a rapidly expanding CRO team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute in vivo pharmacology studies, designing animal models and managing preclinical projects to evaluate the efficacy of new therapeutic agents.
- Lead in vivo service projects and act as Study Director or Project Manager, ensuring projects are completed accurately and within timelines.
- Perform animal handling, including tumor inoculation, drug administration, sample collection, tumor measurement, and PK/PD analysis.
- Develop and validate in vitro and ex vivo assays such as immune cell profiling, cytokine analysis, and functional cell-based assays.
- Contribute to scientific report writing, present findings to clients and internal teams, and support local and external scientific discussions.
- A Degree or higher level in pharmacology, immunology, cancer biology, or a related biomedical field.
- Proven hands‑on experience with animal models and preclinical in vivo pharmacology studies.
- Skilled in cell‑based immunological assays including T cell activation, NK cell cytotoxicity, and macrophage functional testing.
