CAFE supports the research and practice community by facilitating data sharing, training, mentorship, collaboration, convenings, and sharing of other resources.
The successful candidate will provide key support in research translation, convenings, and project organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with organization, facilitation, and post-event material dissemination of ongoing educational webinars (including but not limited to technical support, blog-post writing, and video editing).
* Support in-person and virtual convenings (half-day conference-like events, in-person symposiums), including recruitment and coordination of speakers, organization of agenda and submissions, and facilitation of events.
* Facilitate workshops and other research translation efforts of our Resource Function team.
* Provide additional administrative support to CAFE teams, which may include: meeting management, working group coordination, submission and application review, communications materials generation, presentation assembly, among other activities.

* Facilitate collaboration and research translation across the CAFE community of practice and the extreme weather and health field.

The Research Fellow will work within a highly collaborative ecosystem and be nested within the NIH-funded CAFE RCC, which convenes and accelerates a global community of practice for health and extreme weather research, supporting data sharing, training, and collaborative science.
The Research Fellow will report directly to the Program Managers for CAFE (Elaine Bertolini and Lilly Nichols), and the Multiple Program Investigator for CAFE out of BU:
