Job Title

This is a Term appointment (not-to-exceed 8/1/2029). Term appointments are non-status, nonpermanent appointments of limited duration (more than 1 year but not more than
4). Term employees are eligible to earn leave and generally have the same benefits as permanent employees including health and life insurance, within-grade increases and Federal Employees Retirement System and Thrift Savings Plan coverage. Term appointments may be extended without further competition (up to the 4-year maximum). The appointment to a Term position does not confer eligibility for promotion or reassignment to other positions or the ability to be non-competitively converted to permanent employment.

• Support PI in the development, design, and conduct of research projects according to the plan and review the progress of the projects.
• Formulate research methods and suggest options for improving quality, while identifying potential problems, and recommending and implementing solutions.
• Perform screen and recruit candidates for clinical trials using objective rating techniques to determine eligibility and administer informed consent.
• Perform exercise testing, exercise prescription, and exercise training for research studies.
• Perform exercise monitoring on study participants.
• Follow study protocols: analyzing, coding, and performing data entry based on study guidelines.
• Use statistical software such as Excel and REDCap for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
• Perform detailed mobility and cognitive assessments in study participants, including the use and analysis of wearable sensors (e.g., music-based digital device, actigraphy).
• Submit or assist with preparing IRB and other regulatory submissions and audits for research studies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am until 4:30 pm.
