Position DescriptionWe invite applicants for a postdoctoral fellow position in the Paulsson lab at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. The Paulsson lab focuses on methods for single cell biology and antimicrobial resistance in bacterial infections. We welcome applications from recent PhD graduates interested in these fields, especially those able to bring new technology or perspective to the work, particularly around the interface between microscopy and omics-like assays.
The successful candidate will work with Dr. Paulsson to develop an independent research project within the lab’s research focus. In addition to bench research on RNA assays and microscopy for various organisms, the candidate will be expected to apply for fellowship funding, contribute to grant and manuscript writing, participate in teaching and mentoring of lab members as needed, and otherwise contribute to overall lab operations and collaborative environment.
BasicQualifications
- Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in physics, biophysics, systems biology, or related fields
- Experience with microscopy and assay development

This is a one-year term position from the date of hire, with the possibility of extension, contingent upon work performance, business needs, and continued funding to support the position.
