The Compound Library Lab Technician is responsible for handling, shipping, and preparing samples for testing and analysis. They ensure that all laboratory equipment and work areas are clean and functioning properly. The Compound Library Lab Technician also plays a role in instrument calibration, operation, and the management of data flow within the laboratory. Other essential duties include organizing, cataloging, and maintaining sample inventory, ensuring proper labeling, and following established protocols for sample handling.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and adherence to safety guidelines are critical to maintaining the integrity and traceability of samples. The Compound Library Lab Technician follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintains compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs).
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field
- Minimum 2+ years of laboratory experience
- Experience with sample handling and storage procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow SOPs and maintain detailed, accurate records
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn laboratory software systems
- Able to do repetitive tasks
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Physical ability to lift and move laboratory materials (up to 50 lbs)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech laboratory environment
- Familiarity with LIMS or inventory management systems, including Cenevo MOSAIC
- Experience with liquid handling equipment (Echo Acoustic Liquid Handler)
Estimated Min Rate: $17.50
Estimated Max Rate: $25.00
