Job Description
The Discovery Pharmaceutical Sciences team, embedded within Drug Discovery at our Company Research Laboratories, works closely with multidisciplinary project teams to profile molecules, develop formulation strategies, and generate critical data that supports candidate selection and progression into clinical development. We are seeking a motivated scientist to join an experienced discovery formulation team supporting biologics and small molecule programs. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop broad pharmaceutical sciences expertise while working on molecules that directly influence key project decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and characterize biologic and small molecule formulations to support discovery and development programs.
- Conduct pre-formulation and stability studies to evaluate molecule performance.
- Utilize analytical techniques including SEC-HPLC, HPLC-UV, CE-SDS, Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), UV/Vis spectrophotometry, and other relevant characterization methods.
- Prepare samples using manual laboratory techniques and automated liquid-handling systems.
- Document experimental procedures, results, and conclusions in electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Analyze and interpret data and communicate findings to project teams.
- Collaborate closely with formulation scientists and cross-functional discovery teams.
- Prepare formulations and analytical samples.
- Run stability and characterization studies.
- Perform chromatography and electrophoresis-based analyses.
- Review and interpret experimental data.
- Discuss results with scientists and contribute to project strategy.
BS with 3+ years of relevant industry or academic experience, or MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.

- Familiarity with chromatographic, electrophoretic, or biophysical characterization techniques.
- Passion for developing as a pharmaceutical scientist within a discovery-focused organization.
- Salary range: $98,000.00 – $.
