QuEra Computing Inc. seeks a talented Postdoctoral Fellow with a background in quantum error correction (QEC) or related areas to contribute to neutral atom quantum computing innovation. The position is fixed‑term and focuses on developing innovative QEC protocols, designing implementation in neutral atom hardware, and evaluating their interaction with quantum algorithms.

• Develop novel QEC schemes with lower overhead in space and time.
• Design QEC schemes tailored to neutral atom platforms and collaborate with software teams on simulation and implementation.
• Propose and evaluate scalable quantum architectures, error‑correction schemes, and control strategies.
• Collaborate with experimental teams to guide system design, interpret results, and validate models.
• Contribute to technical publications, white papers, and patent filings.
• Participate in internal knowledge‑sharing sessions and external scientific outreach (conferences, workshops).

• Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Quantum Information, or a closely related field.
• Track record of peer‑reviewed publications in top‑tier journals.

• Familiarity with experimental quantum computing platforms, including but not limited to atom arrays.
• Proficiency with numerical simulation and scientific programming.
• Experience with decoders or machine learning.
• Ability to work across theory and application, engaging with experimentalists and engineers.

The approximate base salary range for this position is $110,000-$120,000, plus equity grants for all new hires.
