Postdoctoral Research Fellow
The department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Institute for Intelligent Networked Systems (INSI) is seeking a postdoctoral research fellow to work on the design, development, and realization of future communications technologies. You will be part of the team and contribute to ongoing developments in theory, algorithms and translation to practice in new applications.
Must have a PhD or equivalent in engineering or mathematics. Must be able to undertake full-time research and scholarship. Must be able to work in collaborative multi-institutional teams with senior and junior scholars. Strong foundations in information theory, communications and applied probability are required. Clear writing and presentation skills are essential.
A one-year post, with a possible extension to two years depending on availability of funds and sustained excellence in meeting the duties and expectations is offered.

Compensation grade/pay type: 108S
Expected hiring range: $60,315.00 - $85,192.50
With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
