Strand is looking for a highly motivated and innovative Associate Scientist I/II of Analytical Operations. This role will support day‑to‑day analytical operations as part of a small, productive team in a matrix‑based environment.

• Analyze internally and externally submitted samples using various analytical methods (cell‑based assays, ELISAs, PCR, LC‑MS, etc.).
• Use statistical tools to analyze data and independently draw conclusions.
• Support screening, optimization, and scale‑up efforts in mRNA and LNP Process Development.

• B.S. with at least 2–3 years of relevant experience or M.S. with at least 1–2 years of relevant experience; preference for degrees in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering or similar.
• Working experience in analytical development operations related to biologics.
• Prior experience with LNPs containing nucleic acid payloads.
• Experience with analytical methods such as cell‑based assays, ELISA, RT‑PCR and/or LC‑MS.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and prioritize to meet important deadlines.

Job Type: Full‑time

Salary: $74,000 – $88,000 annually plus bonus and equity incentives
